Vietnam AutoExpo 2019 opens in Hanoi
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai said the Vietnamese economy is currently going through a positive growth, creating favourable conditions for the development of the automobile market.
The event had a positive impact on the market as well as contributed to the development of the automobile and motorbike manufacturing and assembly industry and the related supporting industries in Vietnam, he added.
This year’s exhibition covers an area of over 10,000 square metres, with the participation of nearly 200 domestic and foreign enterprises, introducing new products and services in the automobile, motorbike and supporting industry in Vietnam.
On the side-lines of the expo, a forum will be held to discuss the development of supporting industries for car and motorbike production in Vietnam on June 13.
Besides cars, there are also be hundreds of booths showcasing supporting industries from China, Russia, the US, Japan, Singapore, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Indonesia and Taiwan (China).
The exhibition is scheduled to run until June 15.
